Welcome back to Therapy Chat! In today's episode, host Laura Reagan, speaks to Rebecca Bloom, LMHC, ATR- BC about vicarious trauma + art therapy. 

Rebecca received her training in clinical art therapy at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, graduating with a Masters Degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development. She is a Board Certified Art Therapist and Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Over the last twenty years, Rebecca has provided counseling, training, and consulting services in the areas of youth and family services as well as adults struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Having worked in diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic settings Rebecca has worked hard to bring cultural competence to her work.  For eight years Rebecca taught in Antioch University Seattle's masters Art Therapy program

Currently, Rebecca is studying with Pat Ogen's Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute and am a Level 2 practioner, www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org.

Rebecca is committed to her own creative process and is enjoying nature photography and felting.
